Supply & Demand Manager- Coventry

Our client is seeking to employ a Supply & Demand Manager. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional products whilst managing cost-efficient sourcing and stock levels. They are seeking a strategic thinker with an eye for detail, a passion for logistics and the skills to build meaningful relationships worldwide.

As the Supply & Demand Manager, you will ensure that customer demand is consistently met and effectively manage stock levels and costings. Through forecasting demands and managing the purchasing cycle, you will have a direct influence on product availability, cost management and customer satisfaction. You will have responsibility for driving key decisions and collaborating with both internal teams and global suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Place purchasing orders with global suppliers, ensuring that stock levels are balanced to meet demand, without overstocking.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners
• Analyse sales, stock and availability data weekly, identifying trends and potential risks.
• Refine demand forecasts, prevent stockouts and overstock, and support company-wide sales and operations planning.
• Coordinate the timely delivery of products, collaborating with forwarders and operations teams to make sure everything arrives on time and under budget.
• Lead monthly Sales & Operations planning meetings, using an in-depth understanding of demand, sales and supplier updates to shape the strategy for the upcoming period.

Key skills and experience

• Strong IT Skills- ability to analyze large, complex datasets to spot trends and make informed decisions
• At least 3 years’ experience in buying, planning, supply chain or merchandising roles, preferably with a focus on international supply chains
• Detail-oriented and Highly Analytical
• Confident Communicator- ability to lead meetings, deliver presentations and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
