SITE MANAGER REQUIRED – SILVERSTONE – HS2
BCS Connect are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Site Manager to work on an HS2 scheme near Silverstone.
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in drainage and groundworks-related schemes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of subcontractors and labour on site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
This is a 6-month contract with an immediate start available.
THE ROLE:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the subcontractor and labour workforce on site and overseeing the successful delivery of the works.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing subcontractors and site labour
- Coordinating day-to-day site activities
- Overseeing drainage and groundworks activities
- Conducting toolbox talks
- Carrying out site inductions and briefings
- Ensuring site health and safety requirements are followed
- Monitoring progress and quality of works
- Liaising with the client and attending client meetings
- Working closely with the wider project team to ensure works are delivered in accordance with the programme
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience working as a Site Manager
- Strong experience on drainage and groundworks schemes
- Previous experience working on HS2 projects
- Must have a valid EKFB induction for this role
- SMSTS
- Temporary Works qualification/experience
- First Aid
- Strong subcontractor and labour management experience
- Good communication and organisational skills
ROLE DETAILS:
- Location: Silverstone, Northamptonshire
- Project: HS2
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months
- Rate: Day rate negotiable for the right candidate
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager with the required HS2 and EKFB experience to secure a 6-month contract on a major infrastructure project.
