BCS Connect are looking for a Site Manager in Leominster on a 4 year Freelance Project starting in January 2025
Our client, a Groundworks sub-contractor are seeking a site manager with a background in 278 works, roads, sewers and drainage for a new build housing project.
**Role Responsibilities:**
- Overseeing subcontractors and trades to ensure smooth project delivery
- Managing essential documentation, including RAMS, ITPs, QA, and client handover documents
- Chairing site meetings with design teams and subcontractors
- Managing construction programmes, identifying and addressing any delays
- Working closely with the subcontractors on site to ensure a smooth delivery.
- Dealing directly with the main client, resolving work plan issues and pushing the delivery of the project.
**Requirements:**
- Experience working with groundworks subcontractors
- Proven track record managing large new build housing sites
- Strong background in delivering new build residential schemes
- Valid CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid certification
- Strong IT skills, familiar with construction software, Word, and email
- Experience working with main contractors
