Site Manager – Commercial Build – Wantage, Oxford
Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in commercial build projects? This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a commercial scheme in Wantage, Oxford, from start to completion. This temporary contract is expected to last 7 months, with the potential for further work on another project afterward.

Your Responsibilities:
Oversee subcontractors and trades to ensure smooth project delivery
Manage essential documentation, including RAMS, ITPs, QA, and client handover documents
Chair site meetings with design teams and subcontractors
Oversee construction programmes, identifying and addressing any delays
Work closely with subcontractors on site to ensure timely and efficient delivery
Liaise directly with the main client, resolving work plan issues and driving project completion
What You’ll Need:
Proven experience in commercial build projects
Strong track record managing subcontractors on site
Essential certifications: Valid CSCS NVQ Level 6, SMSTS, and First Aid
Strong IT skills, including familiarity with construction software, Word, and email
Previous experience working with main contractors on commercial schemes
