Site Engineer- 12 Month Contract- Worcester

Experienced Site Engineer – Worcester | £280–£320 per day | 12-Month Project 

BCS connect are recruiting for an Experienced Site Engineer to support our client on a specialist environmental engineering project in Worcester, starting 18th August 2025.
 

This role will focus on the refurbishment and remodelling of reed beds as part of a critical wastewater treatment upgrade. The successful candidate will take a lead in site setting out, quality assurance, and technical coordination to ensure works are delivered to specification, on programme, and in compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out and surveying using Leica TS16 total station (equipment provided)
• Managing dimensional control, line/level, and site records
• Producing and updating AutoCAD drawings (own laptop required)
• Coordinating with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries
• Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with environmental and engineering specifications
• Recording as-built data for handover documentation
• Supporting the implementation of site health & safety plans

Duration: 12 months
Location: Worcester – site-based role
Scope: Refurbishment & remodelling of reed beds, including earthworks, lining systems, inlet/outlet structures, drainage connections, and reinstatement works

 £280–£320 per day (DOE)

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Valid CSCS card or SSSTS
• Demonstrable experience in civil engineering site work – preferably water treatment/environmental infrastructure
• Competence with Leica instruments and AutoCAD
• Strong organisational and communication skills
