Site Agent.

Site Agent required for a river flow based project in the Peak District.

This is a freelance based role for 16 weeks with opportunities to move to other projects after. 

The Role:
The Site Agent will be responsible for the management of the construction sites in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers’ objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control. They will deliver on-going projects, to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance. 

Main Duties:

•    Planning, programming and resourcing.
•    Contract Budget and target programme - preparation and monitoring.
•    Site Cost Control.
•    Construction of the works to specified quality standards.
•    Health & Safety and Environmental compliance and best practice.
•    Compliance with contract particulars.
•    Management of site staff, sub-contractors and operatives.
•    Liaison with the Engineer’s Representative, Project Manager or Supervisor.
•    Efficient utilisation and use of resources in carrying out your duties.
•    Maintain comprehensive records and ensure all records are archived.
•    Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
•    Inspection, testing, commissioning and handover.


Candidate requirements
•    5+ years' minimum experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering industry
•    BSC Civil Engineering or Equivalent
•    CSCS -Black card (NVQ level 6) (Gold card minimum
•    SMSTS 5 days qualification
•    NRSWA – Supervisor
•    First Aid - Full 3 Day Cours
•    Temporary Works Co-ordinator
•    Confined Space Training - (Advantage)
•    Practicable Environmental Management - (Advantage)
