Senior Estimator wanted permanent in Sheffield - Highways and Water sector based.

BCS Connect is recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor looking for a Senior Estimator with experience in the Highways and Water sectors based in the Sheffield region.

The Role:
Lead the estimating function, managing tenders across a wide value range, overseeing a team, and working closely with operational and pre-construction teams to deliver high-quality submissions. Support business growth while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with procedures.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years’ estimating experience in civils/highways/water sectors
• Strong Candy and/or Causeway skills, with advanced Excel knowledge
• Experience managing tenders and leading teams
• Knowledge of NEC4 contracts and construction processes
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and commercial awareness
