BCS connect are looking for a Section Engineer in Suffolk- Infrastructure Projects

BCS connect are currently working with a large civil engineering client who are currently looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join their business on a Permanent Capacity to deliver major infrastructure works across East Anglia

This is your chance to take ownership of your section, drive progress on-site, and help deliver complex projects the right way — safely, accurately, and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Lead sectional setting out and manage service drawings
• Carry out inspections and testing to ensure quality and compliance
• Mentor and manage Junior Engineers
• Produce and review method statements and risk assessments
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities
• Support project documentation, records, and claims
• Oversee “as-built” data and contribute to the H&S file
• Make sure all work aligns with company standards and policies

What You’ll Bring

• Strong setting out experience in infrastructure (highways, roads, earthworks)
• Proficiency with Leica/Geomax and AutoCAD data transfer
• Solid understanding of ITPs and QA processes
• A proactive, hands-on attitude with leadership potential
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Eastern region
• First Aid at Work certificate (a bonus)
