Job Title: Sales Representative (Industrial Fabrication)
Location: Brownhills, West Midlands
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 basic, plus comprehensive package

About the Role:
Our client, a leader in the industrial fabrication and machine parts sector, is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to drive business growth and support customer needs in a competitive market. This role is perfect for a sales professional who understands industrial manufacturing and has a successful track record in selling fabrication products, equipment, or machine parts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, target new customers, and grow the client portfolio within the industrial fabrication and manufacturing sector.
  • Account Management: Manage existing accounts, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure long-term partnerships through exceptional customer service.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Work closely with the leadership team to execute the company’s sales strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products, services, and industry trends, and communicate value to customers effectively.
  • Quotations & Contracts: Prepare and present quotes, negotiate terms, and close sales in a professional and timely manner.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about market developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to help shape business strategies.
  • Reporting: Regularly update CRM with client interactions and provide sales forecasts and performance reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in sales, specifically within industrial fabrication or machine parts.
  • Familiarity with industrial fabrication processes, materials, and machinery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure beneficial agreements and close sales effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software (e.g., MS Office).
