Quantity Surveyor Wanted for a Specialist Groundworks Contractor

BCS Connect are recruiting on behalf our client seeking to employ an experienced Quantity Surveyor for their business based in Eastleigh, Hampshire.

The Role:
Based in Eastleigh, Southampton, this office-based role (with occasional site visits) will see you working closely with the Commercial and Construction Managers. You’ll take ownership of groundworks packages across domestic residential developments, including:
•    Roads, sewers, foundations, substructures, externals
•    Managing costs, valuations & variations
•    Preparing and maintaining spreadsheets & BOQs
•    Quoting for client-requested works

The Candidate:
We’re looking for a proactive, organised professional with:
•    Groundworks surveying experience (subcontractor background ideal)
•    Strong residential project knowledge
•    Excellent IT & reporting skills
•    A structured, detail-driven approach

The Package:
•    £60,000 – £100,000 DOE
•    Company car or allowance
•    Health insurance (post-trial)
