Position Overview ????
Our client, a well-established metal supplier based in Aldridge, Walsall, is seeking a motivated and skilled Plate Saw Operative to join their team. This role is essential to the company's operations, involving the operation of plate saw machinery and general shopfloor duties.

Key Responsibilities ????
Plate Saw Operation:
- Safely and efficiently operate plate saw machinery to cut metal materials to - specification.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of cuts to meet customer requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
General Shop floor Duties:
- Assist with the movement and storage of metal materials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Support other team members as required to ensure smooth daily operations.
Health & Safety:
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Actively participate in maintaining a culture of safety on the shop floor.

Requirements ?
- Experience in operating plate saws or similar machinery (preferred).
- Familiarity with metal cutting, handling, and general shop floor practices.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and cutting instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
