Planner / Programmer – Water Treatment – Permanent

BCS Connect is working with a leading contractor that is seeking an experienced Planner / Programmer for a permanent position. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable team delivering essential water infrastructure projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for planning and programming works on water treatment schemes, with a strong focus on concrete structures and civil engineering activities.

The role will be primarily based at the client’s head office in Rugby, with regular visits to sites across the Midlands to support project teams.

You will prepare detailed programmes, monitor progress, and work closely with site teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery in line with client requirements.

Skills and Experience Required

To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience working on water treatment projects, ideally within the Severn Trent Water framework.

You will bring previous water resource planning experience along with an appreciation of water resources planning principles.

A strong understanding of the water industry regulatory frameworks and processes is essential.

You will also have experience in modelling and data analysis to support planning decisions.

Strong interpersonal skills are vital, enabling you to effectively communicate technical details and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You should also be flexible and willing to travel to various sites as required.
