Location: Stafford Area
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Position: Permanent

We’re on the lookout for 2 experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitters to join our team in the Stafford area! If you have a background in heavy manufacturing and a passion for keeping machines running smoothly, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! ??

Shift Pattern:
4 on / 4 off
12-hour rotating continental shifts across 7 days per week

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery in a heavy manufacturing environment
Conducting preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment is in top working order
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults quickly and efficiently
Working as part of a skilled team to ensure production runs smoothly
Adhering to strict health and safety standards at all times

What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in mechanical maintenance within a heavy manufacturing setting is a must!
Recognised qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in mechanical engineering would be advantageous
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Ability to work on a rotating shift pattern including weekends
A proactive and flexible attitude
