Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm | Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm

BCS Connect are currently recruiting for a General Operative / Labourer to join a well-established client based in Cannock. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term work, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role:
Working in a busy and physically demanding manufacturing environment, you will support the day-to-day operations of a welding workshop. Full PPE will be provided, be prepared to get your hands dirty...

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in a welding and fabrication workshop with general labouring duties
- Use hand and power tools to prepare, finish, and assemble components
- Prepare units for delivery, including spraying and testing as required
- Operate workshop machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Support stock control and inventory tasks
- Load and unload deliveries
- Maintain a clean and safe working area, following all health and safety procedures
- Carry out occasional deliveries and collections using a company van (a valid driving licence is required)

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or workshop environment
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding and industrial setting
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
- A full UK driving licence is essential due to delivery/collection responsibilities
