BCS Connect are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client, a leading civil engineering company specialising in civils, highways, and infrastructure projects. This is a permanent role with excellent benefits:

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum

About the Role:
You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for heavy civils and highways schemes under NEC contracts. You will work closely with project managers and commercial teams to ensure competitive, robust, and timely tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparing detailed estimates for civil engineering, highways, and infrastructure projects
Reviewing tender documents and understanding project specifications
Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather accurate pricing
Identifying risks and opportunities within projects to support commercial decision-making
Ensuring all estimates comply with NEC contract requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience as a civil engineering estimator, ideally within heavy civils and highways
Experience working with NEC contracts
Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, and costing techniques
Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
