We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established company in Aldridge, West Midlands. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering long-term stability and career development.

The Accounts Assistant role is suited to someone with knowledge of invoicing, purchase orders, purchase ledger and general accounts administration. Full training will be provided on our bespoke accounts software, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills and grow within the business.

The position offers a minimum of £12.21 to £13 per hour. Working hours are Monday to Friday with no weekend work.

As an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include processing and reconciling invoices, managing purchase orders, maintaining the purchase ledger, assisting with general accounts tasks and reporting, and supporting the finance department with day-to-day operations.

To be successful in this role you should have previous experience in accounts, finance assistance or bookkeeping. A good understanding of purchase orders, purchase ledger and invoice processing is essential. You will also need strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team. An ATT qualification would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
